Best known as a blue gemstone, the sapphire actually comes in almost every colour of the rainbow. The birthstone of September, sapphires have been revered for centuries and feature heavily in the British Crown Jewels, earning them a regal status around the world.

Natural diamonds and gemstones formed deep within the earth over millions, even billions of years. A unique combination of extreme pressure and intense heat causes certain gem-forming minerals to crystallise, creating deposits of precious materials that are brought to the surface through mining or earth processes such as volcanoes.
Ring is a gorgeous, fresh shade of blue, with a cool, crystalline quality that gives this classic gemstone a whole new look. Cut into an octagonal shape, Sophie has paired it with two bezel-set trapezoid diamonds totalling 0.52 carats, their angular silhouettes complementing the geometry of the centre stone.
