BAGUETTE CUT DIAMONDSTraditionally long, thin, rectangular-shaped stones with a flat top, though they can also be square or tapered, baguette cut diamonds fall into the category of diamond cuts called step cuts. Rather than having 57 facets like a brilliant-cut diamond, baguette cut diamonds have just 14 parallel facets. Rarely used as a centre stone, they are more commonly accent stones and side stones in three-stone rings and eternity rings.
