SB Styled at Home with Justine Williamson

For this edition of SB Styled at Home, we are delighted to introduce Justine Williamson, wife of entrepreneur Nicko Williamson, mother to Maya and Milo and, as Senior Operations Manager at Bumble after previously heading up the events department at Quintessentially London, a formidable businesswoman herself.

Justine grew up in both the UK and the US and has been friends with Sophie for many years. We headed to her home for a photo shoot with her and her adorable children to find out what she loves most about Sophie’s jewels.

What is the most special piece of jewellery you own and why?

My engagement ring, which was custom made by Sophie, is very precious to me. Nicko proposed to me in Verbier, in the Swiss Alps, and when he was discussing centre stones with Sophie, it was a toss up between a pear shape diamond and a Paraiba tourmaline. I have always wanted a pear shape diamond, so it’s perfect, with the centre stone surrounded by a fine diamond halo.

Which other SB jewels do you own?

My husband gave me a diamond eternity band to celebrate the birth of our first child. I chose a simple rose gold band for my wedding at our home in Ibiza and wanted something to sit alongside it when I’m not wearing my SB engagement ring, so Nicko commissioned Sophie to create an emerald cut diamond eternity ring. It’s timeless and very elegant.

Which piece have you fallen for most from the SB collection and why?

Earrings! There are so many different styles that I would love to own. I have always wanted a pair of diamond studs, and Sophie’s ready to wear hoops are perfect for day to day wear. And there’s no need to remove them in the evening - you simply add extra sparkle.

If you were to design an heirloom piece for your children to inherit later down the line, what would it be?

It would have to be a classic that they or their partners will still want to wear decades from now. A diamond tennis bracelet never goes out of fashion, or a cocktail ring with a colourful centre stone.
