From a garden studio in London, ceramicist Joanna Ling crafts clay pieces whose form and decorative elements take inspiration from the countryside, fields and woods of England. Given this serene foundation, and her artist background running the Cecil Beaton archive at Sotheby’s, it’s probably no surprise that Ling cherishes moments of singularity in a world of mass production, and why each work she creates is entirely unique and handmade.
