Life is punctuated with celebratory occasions, and for these momentous moments, a piece of personalised jewellery is a gift that never fails to impress. Shortly after the birth of my godchildren, both boys, I gave their mothers a plain signet ring for each, to be kept safe until they are of an age where they know what they want to personalise them with. While there are no hard and fast rules, some jewels lend themselves to certain life celebrations. I’m at that point in my life when barely a month goes by without news of a new arrival among my friends - or a baby on the way. Push presents are an American import that have really caught on here, and I completely understand why. Mum is elated yet beyond exhausted. At no point in life has she deserved a gift more.
I have helped many people find push presents for their partners, and I always recommend the same pieces.
