With a great grandfather who was once an original director and diamond dealer at DeBeers, jewellery runs in the blood of this inspiring young designer. Sophie Breitmeyer is an award winning British jewellery designer, described by Vogue Italia as “a new talent to watch.”
Since graduating from the prestigious Central St Martins College of Art and Design in 2010, Sophie has worked with a number of both fine and fashion jewellery brands such as Kiki McDonough, William and Son, Winterson and Tateossian developing a strong following for her creative approach to design and her combinations of unusual stones and different coloured golds.
A winner of the Bright Young Gem award at International Jewellery London in 2010 judged by Hilary Alexander of The Daily Telegraph, Vivienne Becker of The Financial Times and Jessica Diamond of Wallpaper Magazine. Sophie has recently collaborated on a ready to wear catwalk collection for London Fashion Week 2011 with design duo Fyodor Golan, winners of the 2011 Fashion Fringe award, and has worked with Amber Le Bon on her collections.
